1. Bundle , Bundle ,Bundle.. Most of our companies that we represent offer significant discounts for bundling your home insurance and auto insurance together. Most companies (like Travelers Insurance, Safeco Insurance, Hartford Insurance, Metlife Insurance) offer up to 25% off BOTH policies for having them bundled together. If you have homeowners insurance and auto insurance.. why not put them in the same place?
2. MORE is LESS!!
So often I see people carrying lower coverage amounts in order to save money on auto insurance. What most people dont realize is that alot of insurance companies (Travelers Insurance and Safeco Insurance) offer significant discounts for carrying higher liability limits. So you can actually save in the long term.. raise your limits!
3. Raise yoru deductible..
This is an old tried and true test.. it aint rocket science... raising your deductible will lower your price. Not a big secret but it works .. whether you are in Mckinney Texas, Frisco Texas or Plano..
